The movie is believed to be a remake of the 2006 Hollywood film ‘The Prestige’, which was directed by the ‘The Dark Knight’ director Christopher Nolan. It’s reported that Bhansali has adapted the script in Indian context, which is about two rival magicians.

Hrithik as a paraplegic patient will be seen in wheelchair mostly with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan nursing him. Hrithik plays Ethan, a radio show host. Aishwarya plays a married nurse who is also Hrithik’s caregiver. The film also deals with the controversial subject of mercy killing. Ash’s character is interesting because she plays a married woman who gets attracted to Hrithik.
